In the box will be:
- Power Cable
- Between 1 & 8 BT plug to RJ11 cables (depending on service)
- Please advise us as soon as this NTE has arrived so that arrangements can be made for your connection being activated.
- Again advise us as soon as the BT socket(s) are installed. Your service provider will then advise if you require an engineer install or self install.
- If advised to do so by your service providers please follow the steps below.
- Connect WAN/SHDSL 1 (up to 8 if required) to the newly installed BT Openreach line(s) using the cables provided.
- Insert the power lead into the back of the NTE and ensure the collar is screwed in to place, then switch on.
- After approx 2 – 5 minutes you should see the WAN/SHDSL Link light(s) come on at the front of the unit, this indicates you are connected to the network correctly.
- If the light(s) does not come on please leave the NTE unit connected and powered up until your confirmed service live date. If after this date the lights have not come on please contact customer service.
- The 10/100 Ethernet HIGH port is then used to connect to your PC / Network depending on your internal configuration.
