Managed Customer Premises Equipment

For our Lease Connect product range we follow the convention of supplying a non-routed RJ45 Cat 5/6 connection. This is the same type of connection you would typically get from BT or Virgin Media. For many customers this is all they need as they already have a high end router or managed Ethernet switch and their own in house IT department. Our monthly support contract includes the following:

• Remote TFTP storage and monthly backup of your full onsite configuration.
• 6 working hour SLA for receipt of configured replacement unit incase of failure
• Preventative maintenance
• Priority support telephone number.

Some clients on the other hand prefer to have a this network intelligence provided by Edge Telecom. For this purpose all of our Lease Connect and Fibre Leased Lines Products come with the option of the following:

The routers offer embedded encryption acceleration and on the motherboard voice digital-signal-processor (DSP) slots; intrusion prevention system (IPS) and firewall functions; optional integrated call processing and voice mail support; high-density interfaces for a wide range of connectivity requirements; and sufficient performance and slot density for future network expansion requirements and advanced applications.
